I got my Saute Pan and I’m excited to use it! I can’t wait until tomorrow. I want to make roasted bone marrow, roasted garlic, and roasted chicken. Yes I am in love with roasting because these past weeks, I only had a pot and all I could make was rice or braised stuff. Now we get cooking!
The the best part is that it has a laptop compartment! One less thing for me to buy. All I need are bed stuff. I am also going to allow myself to get one jacket. Maybe a new pair of running shoes. A dress shirt and maybe a tie because the school requires I have one. Then, I should be set.
I lost like 3 tablespoon or so of blood at work today. I feel light headed and puking. My blood was dripping all over the place. I had to run to the rest room inside the church and I walked back and blood was on the floor. Hahah I hope God forgives me!
someone forgot to sign off!
Owning a yearbook that isn’t fully autographed by everyone made me realized how unpopular I am :( haha but then it shows the true friends I do have. I wish more people signed it. I am missing some people’s words of wisdom! I guess I should give it to people during the summer.
What people feel when they watch sports. When they yell at their teams such as the Lakers. I feel watching MLG. MAJOR LEAGUE GAMING! that stuff is so intense. I get all sweaty watching them play! I wanted Stephano to win :( I was shouting when he was playing. My parents probably thing I am crazy. I wish I could go. It is in Anaheim, only a couple minutes away.
I return! with good news. Graduation! yes… Yesterday sucked. No scholarship and Muse made me sick. Muse boba… Don’t go there. I did not like it. I would rather go to AU. The boba was like jello.
Anyways back to today. The good part. It was in dialogue mode so I was reading the school newspaper and they had a part about Chris Trejo. I read it and it was about him being a studious kid now. I was and always was proud of him because of the way he became. If you do not know him, he was like a gangster kind of guy. Eric and I would always say dang Chris is so hard working etc etc because he always brings a book to study. He is like characters from movies! But I really look up to him because he is so hardworking. if only everyone in Rosemead was like that. Then I hear chris say
Chris: Oh shoot I forgot to thank Jason and Eddy on the newspaper.
Me: It’s ok man don’t worry about it.
Chris: Nah I meant to really thank you guys, especially you Jason. They rushed me at the last minute.
Me: It’s ok
Chris: No Jason, you inspired me to be better. I was in Mr. Lin’s class and I looked up to you. I always wanted to be like you that is why I worked so hard.
Me: No Chris, you inspire me man, after all this you went away from the gangsters, changed your life. You inspire me truly. Eric and I talked about how you are the most inspirational person at this school.
Chris: Thanks it really means a lot to me.
Then we shook hands. That left a smile on my face and I kept thinking about it all day. How I inspired him to become a hardworking student through my actions. I was like :’) thank you sir…. I know throughout my high school year I hung out with what some people call the wrong crowd but I persevered by never drinking or doing drugs, but to be in that group and help someone become an admirable person :)
Also It was the RMA Banquet today. People were angry at each other because everything was really unorganized. Melissa was running late doing a slide show by herself when May was suppose to hep her and Sam just yelling at everyone. I called Melissa and all I could hear was Sam yelling at me to tell her to get here. Constant yelling and bickering. I tried to calm melissa because calm people work better than stressed angry people. I think I was a good leader there. She came, relaxed happy hopefully. I’d like to think i was a good leader. Haha that is why i’m the Vice and Sam is the president
I made speeches about teachers. Well rai, Zubac, Veljacic and Murata. Ms. Murata said i talk on the podium like I was lazy but she liked it. I met her husband! haha And Ms. Bell told me i make “mean” speeches. that was a nice compliment that made me giggle like a school girl. Tehehehe. It was fun overall. Good day
Senior year has now come to an end… My last obstacle is out of the way! BOOYAH! CELEBRATE!!! FIESTAS! MUAHAHAHA! SO HAPPY!! :)
Honestly, the most stressful scholarship I had to apply for. They require so much stuff. You can choose which scholarships you want to apply for, 3 max. I didn’t qualify for many of them so I chose the ones with essays. so 2 had essays, and it is x2 of everything so I have to print out 2 of each essays! It was tiring but I am glad I am almost done. I can’t wait to mail it off. Hopefully I win the big one where I get 5k a year :) hopefully. fingers crossed!
I feel like after this scholarship is over with I am going to have so much time but in reality, I wont because I will just move on the next scholarship and be stressed about that too. Never ending cycle, dam you college! Why can’t you be free!!!
This might be a long, but interesting post. So I was going to cater, not knowing what to expect. I go to my brother’s friend’s house named Chef Dave. I find out its for a wedding O.o So much pressure already! I don’t want to ruin their wedding, and then the guys who worked for Chef Dave were all experienced. Well into their 20s and 30s. I was intimidated. They were the typical chefs in Kitchen Confidential. If you don’t know what that means. They smoke, drink and talk about sex a lot. I was shy at first, but one by one they would talk to me and I would get to know them. They gave me good pointers and advice. The destination was at Joshua Tree, 2hrs away!!! but we got lost and pit breaks so it was 3 hours. And I had to sit on a milk cart >.< well the place was literally in the middle of nowhere! No civilization within 5 miles. And smack in the middle of the desert, was a motel with trailers in it. I thought “This is the strangest goddam wedding ever!” The worse part was that we had to work outside in the sun and when it got dark, there were no lights! Well the menu was Yucatan slow roasted pork, carne asada, and chicken tacos for the main dish with red and green rice and 2 kinds of beans. I worked under Chef Mikey who was really nice to me. He let me borrow his knives and dam they were sharp as heck! I wish I had that knife. I basically peeled beets, chop the beets, lemons, lettuce, help plate the salad and help around and in the end I helped washed dishes. The great thing was that everyone helped with the dishes. It was nice, I felt a part of their family. They kept telling me, do you smoke? Dont start! you will never quit. But sometimes it can save you from killing someone in the kitchen so it is a good thing, well if you already started. Haha they were funny and treated me like a little brother. They also drink monster like water. I saw them drink 4-6 cans of it and smoke 2 packs of cigarettes they are crazy! And they would pick up chicks and all that. It was like in kitchen confidential. It was fun though. Got home at 1A.M. and got some free food and made some cash for prom. It was a good day all in all.
